The materials of Workshop "IF&GIS-2011" they are moved in "Workshops Archive". New 6th International Workshop on Information Fusion and Geographical Information Systems (IF&GIS'2013) will be in St. Petersburg, May 2013.

     The IF & GIS Workshop was successfully held on 10-11 May in Brest, France. The Workshop was held under the umbrella of the 3rd International conference on Safer Seas.

     The IF&GIS’ 2011 were attended by more than 40 leading scientists, from a large set of fields such as GIS, artificial intelligence, geography, computational geometry, cognitive science, spatial databases, visualisation, environment sciences, underwater acoustics, including Prof. Bin Jiang, Prof. Jean-Claude Thill.  Dr Alain Retiere from the United Nations have presented his Climsat project.

     Dear Participants, The Workshop Program Committee have finished the reviewing process. 

    Full papers number:  3; 8;11;15;16; 20; 23; 25; 28; 29; 30; 33; 35; 36; 37 are approved by Program Committee for publication in the Workshop Proceedings. 

     The Workshop Proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in series Lecture Notes in Geoinformation and Cartography. 

     Submissions for IF&GIS 2011 number: 6; 7; 9; 17; 18; 21; 22; 26; 32 are accepted by Program Committee for oral presentation during The IF&GIS 2011 Workshop.
